UNITED SOCIALIST STATES OF FIDELA OCASIO PELOSI, MISS CHAVEZ.

Ricardo Valenzuela

Opinion: America is already socialist – The Minnesota Daily Being originally from Sonora, a border state with the US, since I was a child, I learned to admire this country especially when comparing it to Mexico and, with that curiosity of a little children, I always asked why Nogales, Arizona was so beautiful and Nogales, Sonora so ugly and I did not understand what my father use to answer. It took me many years to find an answer to all my questions and, with my questions clarified, my admiration for the US grew more. Then I went to college at Monterrey Institute of Technology, a private university in the city of Monterrey where a great man, Eugenio Garza Sada, was its founder after he attended MIT in USA.

When I was student there, I learned the big difference between the economies of both countries, Mexico and USA. I learned that the economy of the southwest states of US which use to be part of Mexico, was 7 times bigger than the economy of whole Mexico. At the beginning I could not understand why that big difference but now I have a very clear idea. And now I understand that because a few years I decided to read the constitution of the US. And when I read that part of it which defines the responsibility of the government just to protect the rights of its citizens to liberty, life, property and freedom to look for their happiness, I immediately understood the cause of the wealth of the nations which Adam Smith had described in his beautiful book.

When the great economic crisis in Mexico during the 80s which pushed the government and had to declare bankruptcy and beg for US help, I congratulated myself having married an American and that my three daughters, even when we were still living in Mexico, were born in Arizona. Because that made it easier for me to leave my country, to which I saw no remedy unless some day we could have a different kind of government, and legally emigrate to the US in a short period of time, the country of freedom, of opportunities, of individualism, of the rule of law. A country that Adams declared would be the illumination of the world. Then I witnessed the arrival of the administration of Ronald Reagan.

But after more than 30 years living here, at this moment I cannot understand the magnitude of the changes that this country is undergoing. And I wonder how it was possible that, in the last election, all Democratic presidential candidates were disputing the prize for the best socialist-communist of that pack? How is that possible that from this same pack of angry, resentful, hateful, ignorant people have funs trying to send them to the presidency, there is a big danger that one of them could be president? And I know they are Latin American-style socialists because they use the same tones, make their same promises as the politicians in the country that I abandoned and have now delivered it to the worst of their specimens that are destroying it.

Upon arriving in the US I knew that the future of my daughters would be safeguarded even though in Mexico we were considered part of the "high gloved royalty." But now, sadly, I wonder what will happen to the future of my grandchildren in a country where everything that has turned into the greatest miracle in the history of mankind, the admiration of the world in the 19 century and the country of the future, this group of criminal lunatics are destroying. A country that, even having in its backroom and in its sight, the socialist failure of Latin America and, especially, those of Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Argentina and now Mexico, as blind people want to go along that route to it servitude that we have always had in Latin America. A country in which now its great political revelation is an ignorant, former bartender, communist who, anointed with pride, such as the Hollywood hillbilles, walks like a dread and is persecuted by the equally ignorant press to drink from the well of her wisdom and proceeds to his chairs.

My father was educated in Europe between Belgum and England because my gran father was mexican ambassador in those countries, he was there at the beginning of the war. Before he passed, he was always telling me that the USA had started the same route that Europe went through after the war. He always was against the EU because he said it was the route to communism. The day that the European Union celebrated, he was so sad. He was a lawyer from the University of Brussels and then he was a student of Hayek at the London School of Economics, so, he knew about this issue. I hope President Trump could stop all this assault against this beautiful country. I have 8 grandchildren born in this country because my daughters marry American boys and I do worry a lot.

Now in advance, like Maduro en Venezuela, in October I would like to wish you a happy new year because if I wait until end of December, is going to sound like some kind of joke, So I can't. Because I am so afraid that the only one who could really deliver that kind of reality is someone named Donald J. Trump who, despite their successes, now the ignorant superior communists decided to play the game of a coup d’Etat and kill the only hope for the good people.

Poor EU so far from God and invaded by nacos from all sewers and septic tanks of the world that come here to pontificate.
